I am delighted to announce the new Reboot kitesurfing course. I have been carefully putting this together over the last few months and packed it with loads of stuff that kiters of different abilities and aspirations will find fascinating.
The overall aim of Reboot is to kickstart your kitesurfing after a winter layup or a bit of time off, and accelerate your learning and accomplishments throughout the coming season. It does this by focusing on four areas: fitness for kitesurfers, psychological tips, equipment knowledge, and kitesurfing fundamentals. Please read on past the photo for more details.
Date: 8th – 9th March (10 am – 5 pm, 10 am – 1 pm)
Location: Watergate Bay Hotel, TR8 4AA
Price: £160 per person
Please bring: All your kitesurfing kit, pocket money for parking and lunch.
Accommodation: Not included. Hotels and b&bs are plentiful in Newquay and suit all budgets, give us a holler if you want any suggestions
Reboot is run at Watergate Bay Hotel in the sumptuous executive training suite. It is warm, quiet, comfortable and very close to everything we need. The beach is outside the window and just down the slipway. The location and facilities of Watergate Bay Hotel are conducive to the heightened learning environment of the course.
Wind or no wind? Just like the Ocean Confidence Course, Reboot is a wind or no wind course – that means it is designed to run without wind, with elements that are run from the training suite and also on the beach. That said, we’re all kitesurfers, so if the wind is blowing nicely we WILL get out on the water and some elements of the course will be adapted to suit. Reboot is constructed to give you new knowledge and ‘tools’ that will make you a better, safer, and more fulfilled kitesurfer.
