  1. This year: 56,413 – and counting – page views

    by

Here’s a quick overview of how my bloggins has been performing this year: each month it gets an average of 5,000 visits, yielding 14,ooo page views and 100,000 hits. Multiply that by four and you’ve got the total for the year!

  2. Fistral Dunes are PRISTINE, for now!

    by

Many thanks to the crew that turned up today, Jackie Smart of course (her idea in the first place!), Michelle and her grabbing sticks, Ben and Gemma from Surfing is Therapy, local lass Roxy, and Steve and Kate Roberts, it was a very fulfilling way to spend a sunny morning!

  3. Fistral Dunes are being TRASHED

    by

The Dunes behind Fistral are being trashed by brainless twerps. We’re doing a Dune Sweep on Tuesday morning if you’re interested, starting 10am.

    by

    by

It’s been sensory overload for the people of Newquay these last few days. The surf has continued to impress, and only today has it dipped below the head high mark – just for a few hours though because a new swell arrives tomorrow which looks set to last all week. On top of that, we’ve [...]

  7. We surfed The Cribbar today (scroll down for video)

    by

You may know that I have a great mate who goes by the name of Smiler. Well, Smiler and I seem to share the same fascination with, and desire for, surfing whatever the Atlantic can throw on to our doorstep. We’ve had some milestone moments: the Polzeath near death kitesurf; the great Fistral love surf [...]

  8. More ego stroking – this time, in slow motion :)

    by

Finally kicked the mag into touch for another month – quite a scramble this time round but I’m really pleased with what we pulled together and can’t wait to see it in print. We worked especially hard this issue to make the articles work not only for the reader, but for the people that wrote [...]
