Surf Sanctuary is a surf school, surf hire centre and personal training base for families, individuals and small groups. We offer bespoke and group sessions in surfing, coasteering, standup paddle, snorkel tours and ocean confidence training. As of 2023, we also offer personal training and surf fitness training plans.

We are a small collective of lifelong surfers and friends that enjoy sharing everything that the beautiful Cornish Atlantic Ocean has to offer. We continue our professional development through self-directed and formal research and education and of course scores of hours of water time across many types of surf craft each week.

Our philosophy is that everyone can enjoy surfing and feel confident and happy in the water. Arbitrary technical checkpoints aren't important, but being on the trajectory of fun and self-development is :)

We are immensely proud to be located and serve as the on-site surf school at the five-star Headland Hotel. Located in the western corner of the hotel, our base looks directly over the surf at Fistral Beach, Newquay.
